Gossip Girl star Blake Lively has never been very well known but in mid 2011 someone leaked some nude photos of Blake onto the net... While the photos were only "slightly" popular at first, Blake had her publicist make a statement that the photos were "not her" and then the hacker released additional photos that proved Blake was lying and that made the photos even more popular as everyone continued to do "web searches" for both the original photos and the newer photos that proved Blake was a liar.
